A composite dataset that includes all wetlands from each of the three surveys undertaken (BOPWetldExclRotED20050324: Bay of Plenty Wetlands Excluding the Rotorua Lakes Ecological District - final version acquired 24/03/2005, RotLakeEDWetld20050324; Rotorua Lakes Ecological District Wetlands - final version aquired 24/03/2005, RotLakeMargWetldExtentOnly; Rotorua Lake Margins Wetlands Extents Only). It will, in the future, also include any further surveys and one off mapping of wetlands. There are and will continue to be, multiple versions of the same wetland. This is because some wetlands have been mapped in a number of surveys. Any wetland that gets re-mapped in the future will not have any polygons already in this dataset changed in anyway, but a whole new polygon will be added. |
