The Primary Code is the rating code that is used. Please use this code for any work involving the Rangitaiki River Rating Scheme.The origins of the Rate Code field seem to have been lost in the murky depths of time but it is fairy certain that this is code is not in use. It is possible that this was used only to give a unique code to each polygon in the dataset. - but this is not confirmed.
