This dataset was produced from historic imagery scanned as part of the LINZ/LGGA joint project to digitise the crown archive of historic aerial imagery. The imagery was orthorecitified by SkyVuw Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, ECAN and Waikato Regional Council.The original aerial photography was acquired using a WILD RC5 camera system on 6th Februar 1961. The imagery was collected flying at 16,500 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:44,000. The original scanned images provide an approximate raw GSD of 61cm which has been resampled to 60cm in order for the pixels to fit within the tile size as whole pixels. |
