This dataset was produced from historic imagery scanned as part of the LINZ/LGGA joint project to digitise the crown archive of historic aerial imagery. The imagery was orthorectified by SKkyVuw Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, ECAN and Waikato Regional Council.The aerial imagery for SN1906 was acquired using a WILD RC8 camera system between 15/10/66 and 1/5/69. The imagery was collected flying 18,000 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:24,000. The original scanned images provide an approximate raw GSD of 34 cm which have been reampled to 40cm in order for the pixels to fit within the tile size as whole pixels. The orthorectification was undertaken by SkyVuw Ltd. |
