This dataset was prodeuced from historical imagery scanned as part of the LINZ/LGGA joint project to digitise the crown archive of historic aerial imagery. The imagery was orthorectified by SkyVuw Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, ECAN and Waikato Regional Council. The original aerial photography was acquired using a ZEISS RMK60/23 camera system on 18th September 1970. The imagery was collected flying at 6,900 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:3,450. The original scanned images provide an approximate raw GSD of 4.8cm which has been resampled to 5cm in order for the pixels to fit within the tile size as whole pixels. |
