This dataset was produced from historic imagery scanned as part of the LINZ/LGGA joint project to digitise the crown archive of historic aerial imagery. The imagery was orthorectified by SKkyVuw Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, ECAN and Waikato Regional Council.The original aerial photography was acquired using a ZEISS RMK30/23 camera system on 29/05/81. The imagery was collected flying 6,600, 12,600 AND 25,000 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:6,500, 1:12,500 and 1:25,000 respectively. The original scanned images provide an approximate raw GSD of 9, 18 and 35 cmwhich have been resampled to 10, 20 and 40 cm respectivelyin order for the pixels to fit with the tile size as whole pixels. |
