This dataset was produced from scanned historic imagery orthorectified by Imagine Map Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, Waikato Regional Council and Environment Canterbury.The aerial photography for SN150 was acquired using a Williamson Eagle IV camera system on 30/05/1940. The imagery was collected flying 7,200 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:10,500. The original scanned images provide an approximate scale of 1:10,500. The original scanned images provide an approximate raw GSD of 21cm which has been resampled to 25cm in order for the pixels to fit within the tile size as whole pixels. |
