This dataset was prodeuced from historical imagery scanned as part of the LINZ/LGGA joint project to digitise the crown archive of historic aerial imagery. The imagery was orthorectified by SkyVuw Ltd as part of a joint contract between BOPRC, ECAN and Waikato Regional Council. <\/SPAN><\/P>

The original aerial photography was acquired using a ZEISS RMK60/23 camera system on 18th September 1970. The imagery was collected flying at 6,900 feet above sea level providing an approximate scale of 1:3,450.
