The grain of the negatives is visible and when looking at individual buildings, blur is evident. Appropriate to view at a scale of approximate 1:2000. Camera type was EAGLE camera # 106... Focal length = 209.70mm. These images do not cover the entire area of TCC. They only cover the CBD and western urban areas of Tauranga. 6 offsets were compared between the 1943 images and TCC 2003 aerial photos. These ranged in value from 2 to 8m difference, but this is provisional as it was difficult to make a link between these two datasets due to the low quality of the 1943 images and changes over the 60years.
